Topic:  The Sokovia AccordsWelcome to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)! It is 2016, and 117 countries in the United Nations have just ratified the Sokovia Accords – a system of strict jurisdiction and accountability over the activities of “enhanced individuals”, government agencies, and private organizations. Some argue that these Accords may help in regaining public confidence in the Avengers. Others hope that they may prevent the casualties and damages suffered in Lagos and Sokovia. But to many, it seems that these Accords are nothing more than a power play, designed to limit the abilities of the Avengers and ensure they will no longer have the right to choose when to step in and save the world, leaving it to its destruction. In this action-packed committee, members will have to work to find a compromise over these Accords – or risk tearing the Avengers apart.
