Ga Young Kim
Joann (Ga Young) Kim is the Secretary of Documents and Delegates for AMUN 2010. Her Model UN experience started in freshman year when she joined the Model UN club and she became involved with AMUN since 2007. In 2007, she participated in the United Nations Committee for Human Rights, and in 2008 she participated in the Joint Crisis Committee, in which she won Outstanding Delegate. In 2009, she staffed for the Special Political and Decolonization Committee, chaired by HJ Kim and Liza Ponomarenko.
Joann is currently a senior in the Academy for Business and Finance and wants to pursue a career in economics and law. She is active in the National Honor Society, Operation Smile, Make-a-Wish, Spanish Honor Society, and DECA. She has also been a member of the golf team since freshman year. She interns at Merrill Lynch and hopes that her experiences in Model UN will help her communication and debating skills.
