Kavisha Khanuja
Kavisha Khanuja is the Secretary of External Affairs for AMUN 2009. She became involved in Model UN in freshmen and her first collegiate conference was WAMUNC 2007. She has attended additional conferences at GWU and Yale. She has been involved in AMUN since 2007 and served as delegates her freshman and sophomore year. In her junior year, she served as a staff member for the WHO committee. This year she will be co-chairing WHO committee along with her secretariat responsibilities.
Kavisha is a senior in the Academy for Medical Science Technology (AMST) and is interested in pursuing a career in medicine. In addition to the Model UN club, Kavisha is an active member of Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) and the school literary magazine. She has also been involved with Girl Scouts for the past 9 years. Kavisha currently is interning at the Bergen County Medical Examiner’s Office. She hopes her experiences in this internship will enable her to see the other options available to her in the medical field.
