However, in the most recent weeks, Ferrari are investigating a McLaren engineer, Mike Coughlan, for colluding with Nigel Stepney to give information about Ferrari’s car to the McLaren team, as well as using Mike Coughlan’s wife to photocopy documents. However, all of this is still alleged, and information will change as time goes on. As the Ferrari team, the delegates believe that McLaren was caught spying on them using this method, using the above method. In addition, delegates are pushing for a harsh punishment on McLaren; not only were they caught spying on Ferrari, they are Ferrari’s title challengers and winning the World Constructors’ Championship 104-76. However, it is important to not accidentally paint Ferrari in such a harsh light, for this scandal is already bringing negative publicity to both teams, so delegates must work to limit this. |
