Fees + Timeline

September 14th, 2026 thru November 9th, 2026 (11:59 PM) - Priority Registration
November 10th, 2026 thru December 15th, 2026 (11:59 PM) - Regular Registration

January 15th, 2027 (11:59 PM) is the deadline to adjust delegation size for refunds.

Delegate Fee:
$60.00 per student for Priority Registration
$65.00 per student for Regular Registration

Schedule

Day 1: February 4, 2027 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Day 2: February 5, 2027 3:30 PM - 9:30 PM
*Diner & snacks will be provided.
*Each delegation is responsible for transportation to/from BCA as a group.

Payment

A per-delegate registration fee* will be required to participate in AMUN XXVIII. Payment can be processed through CommunityPass (credit card) or via Purchase Order (see details below).

*$60 if registered between 09/14/2026 - 11/09/2026 and $65 if registered between 11/10/2025 - 12/15/2026. Delegations notifying AMUN of reductions in delegation size after January 25 will NOT be issued refunds.

It is expected that delegates who opt to pay via SchoolCash Online pay immediately after registration.

Position Papers

Positions Papers are optional this year at AMUN, and will not entirely be considered in the determination of awards. MORE ON THIS POLICY SOON. They are due the week before AMUN and are to be sent directly to chairs. Delegates should write a position paper on each topic in their committee's guide, unless otherwise noted. For AMUN, we are open to accepting position papers for ALL COMMITTEES (including Spec, not including Crisis/JCC/AdHoc). Please consult the delegate guide below for guidelines.

Please submit your SINGLE SPACED, Times New Roman SIze 12 Position Papers by emailing the Chair of your Committee with a subject line in the format:
Committee Name - Your Country - Your Name - Position Paper

Awards

AMUN strives to provide delegates with an educational and enjoyable experience. We seek to help students debate issues of international significance in a welcoming and respectful setting. Although we do not promote an overly competitive environment, we want to recognize delegates who exceed expectations with their leadership ability and positive contributions to committee. Successful delegates will demonstrate a thorough knowledge of their committee's topics, show strong public speaking ability, remain in line with their country's policies, and engage diplomatically with their committee through comprise and negotiation. Finally, AMUN will offer the following delegation awards to recognize schools who demonstrate excellence across committees:
