Directors of Internal Affairs
Nathan AverboukhHello, my name is Nathan Averboukh, and I am honored to have the privilege to be one of the JAMUN XI Co-Directors of Internal Affairs. I am currently a sophomore in the AVPA academy at BCA. I first started Model UN during the first week of my Freshman year, and I have been a member ever since. Through Model UN, I have had the honor of competing at several conferences, where I have gained valuable skills, found my interests, and met some of the most incredible, talented people from across the country and beyond. Model UN has truly been one of the most formative experiences of my high school career, and it has shaped everything from my friendships to what I hope becomes my career, and so many things in between. Outside of Model UN, I enjoy alpine skiing, learning foreign languages and playing the guitar. Lastly, I would like to encourage every single delegate to try to tie in what you love into Model UN. Due to how incredibly diverse MUN is, I would encourage you to take what you enjoy most and incorporate it into your performance at JAMUN, whether it be through an idea for a resolution or through a hook during one of your speeches. This way, you can truly personalize your experience and make Model UN as interesting and fun as possible for yourself. Through Model UN, I have discovered so much about myself and the world around me, and I can only hope that you will be able to also learn something new during your time as a delegate out this years JAMUN conference. Feel free to reach me any time at [email protected]!

Max DeninzonWelcome to JAMUN XI everybody!! My name is Max Deninzon and I cannot tell you all how excited I am to help run this year’s JAMUN, as Co-Director of Internal Affairs. From my time in Model UN which began back at the start of freshman year, it has always felt like a special family to me. It is a place where you could meet new people, develop lifelong friendships, and also build lucrative skills that can help you to become one of tomorrow’s leaders. In any orientation, I always encourage everyone I meet to try Model UN as it is truly something unforgettable - and that’s a theme I hope to continue through this upcoming JAMUN as well! Beyond Model UN, I am currently a sophomore in the Academy of Business & Finance, and as part of this, some of my other extracurricular activities include DECA and teaching my club the Investment Analysis Group. Not only that, but I also love playing tennis both for the BCA team and outside of school, reading the news, playing the piano, skiing in the winter, as well as traveling! This coming May, I truly cannot wait to share the Model UN experience with you all, and, if I could offer a small piece of advice - remember to always have fun and cherish your time in committee! If you have any questions feel free to contact me at [email protected]

Directors of Operations
Guy GorenHi! My name is Guy Goren, and I’m incredibly honored to be a Director of Operations for JAMUN XI. I’m a Sophomore in BCA’s Medical Academy, and Model UN has been a surprisingly fun and positive experience for me in high-school. The people that you meet and the places that you visit in your life play such a big role in who you become, and it has been one of my greatest privileges to be defined even a little bit by MUN. I’m in BCA’s Quiz Bowl team and Alzheimer's Foundation of America Chapter, volunteer at an emergency room and Long-Term Care Facility, and fence. If I had one thing to say to any highschooler it would be to take advantage of every moment. It’s not who you are in high school that truly matters, but what you choose to become after. So be yourself and give yourself the opportunity to live your best life. Have Fun!

When I’m not prepping for a conference or strategizing, I like to read, sew, and spend time with my friends. See you at JAMUN, and feel free to email me at [email protected]!
