Welcome delegates! My name is Riyashi Varia and I am honored to serve as the Secretary-General for AMUN XXVI! Ever since freshman year, I have been involved with BCA Model UN and it has truly been one of the most shaping experiences. Not only has it grown my passion for international affairs, but it has also introduced me to an incredible, supportive community that I am so grateful to be a part of. One of the things I love most about Model UN is its focus on problem-solving — being able to collaborate with others to address complex global issues and work towards innovative solutions. I hope that during AMUN XXVI, you too will grow to love the collaborative spirit and sense of community that makes MUN so special.
Outside of Model UN, I am a senior in the Academy for Engineering and Design Technology and I love listening to music, gardening, and writing food crawl plans for bucket list locations!

Beatrice Song
Hey delegates! My name is Beatrice Song, and I am delighted to be serving as one of your Directors of External Affairs for this year’s AMUN XXVI! I am a senior in the Academy of Visual Arts, where aside from MUN, I work for the school newspaper, draw cartoons, and practice calligraphy. Interestingly enough, my first experience with MUN was as a staffer, not as a delegate, at BCA’s middle school conference, JAMUN, where I ended up loving the entire experience. I am beyond thrilled to be meeting you all in the winter, and just like how it was one of our own conferences that sparked my MUN journey, I hope it will inspire you all to begin or continue yours as well.

Joining Model UN in my freshman year was one of the best decisions I’ve made; since then, I’ve had incredible opportunities, formed invaluable relationships, and learned essential lessons about communication and leadership. Outside of MUN, I am a senior in the Academy for Medical Science Technology and I enjoy reading and writing short stories, portrait sketching, and going on walks. Ananaya Jain
Hey delegates! I am Ananaya Jain and I am excited to be one of your Directors of Operations this year! MUN has been a defining piece of my high school experience, forcing me to grow as a person and develop a new skill set. I hope that this year, you too can do the same and utilize these skills elsewhere as they hold so many real-world applications. Hey guys! I’m Sohan, one of your co-directors of Operations! I’m in the Academy for Business and Finance at BCA, and public speaking is one of my passions. Beyond MUN, I’ve participated in DECA and gone to nationals the past 3 years. I fence, play soccer, and play table tennis. I’ve been a part of BCA’s Model UN Team for the past few years, and it’s definitely been one of the most interesting and life-changing experiences I’ve had in high school. I joined MUN to learn more about global politics and public speaking; since then, I’ve had the opportunity to engage in so many incredible conversations, fun speeches, and other awesome opportunities that I’m excited for you all to experience as well! Hey delegates! My name is Raymond Kim, and it is my honor to serve as one of your Chiefs of Staff this year! I am in the Academy for Engineering Design Technology at BCA, but I have still always loved debate. I was on the debate team in middle school, and I grew to love the process of research, writing, and conversation. Going into high school, I joined MUN because I wanted a more unique spin on traditional debate, which MUN happened to offer. Outside of MUN, I enjoy fencing, writing, having insightful discussions with people, and most importantly, sleeping. Hello, delegates! My name is Sachit Tumuluri, and I’ve been an avid member of the Model UN community since the beginning of my sophomore year. As I embark on one of my final MUN activities in high school, I’m thrilled to serve as one of your Directors of Conference Logistics for AMUN XXVI! I’m currently a senior in the Academy for Business and Finance, and I first got involved in MUN after being a committed debater in middle school. What drew me to MUN was the unscripted, dynamic nature of debate, which challenged me to think quickly and adapt—a transferable skill I’ve grown to value immensely. Beyond MUN, I enjoy playing chess and mountain biking. I can’t wait to meet all of you, and I’m sure we will have a fantastic conference! P.S.
