The Peloponnesian War: AthensCrisis Director: Yali Afek Chairs: Mia Subrahmanyam & Kiki Perez Grovas Email: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] It is 431 B.C.E. and tensions between the Greek city-states of Athens and Sparta have reached an all time high. The war is imminent and could mark the Greek golden age. The war was marked by the Athenian Plague, which notably weakened Athens and played a huge role in their loss. The war will be fierce, and the victor will come out as the most powerful city-state in the Aegean world. By joining this Joint Crisis Committee, delegates will become the leaders, commanders, and soldiers of the Athenian and Spartan armies, using their extensive knowledge of war and survival to win the conflict, gaining wealth, glory, and prosperity for their people and city-state. |
